I pass through Wai'ao train station every day when commuting between Lo-doug and Fulong, so I get curious about Wai'ao. Although I visited the tourism spot two or three years ago, I was too sad to appreciate its beauty at that time. As a result, I visited the beach, No.9 coffee shop and paragliding base in Wai'ao.
Passing through meandered trail in the mountain, we arrived at the paragliding base. It is a yellow and green meadow there, and you can overview the beach and Guishan Island.
You can book a paragliding service, and a professional coach will fly with you and fall down to the beach slowly. However, the situation really depends on the wind strengh and direction on the day that you would like to fly. It means that you may not be able to go paragliding because the wind strength is not strong enough. On the other hand, you may fly back to the base if the wind strength is strong enough.

After visiting the base, we went to the NO.9 coffeeshop to have a cup of coffee. The building will impress you because it is just like a big cheese.
Walking into the entrance of the big cheese, you can find the beach is just in front of you.
It is a nice place. Lots of people went surfing at the beach.
